About Dallas Whole Life Counseling
Most individuals have learned to settle. They identify their job as a "necessary evil," a "way to make ends meet," rather than a passionate, creative expression of self. They learn to accept this because this is just the way things are. And when it comes to relationships, most individuals experience a similar "inevitable" disappointment. They "know" that romance, excitement and sexual energy fade over time in a committed relationship. As such, it is best to not ask for too much from our partners, our jobs, our lives.
At Dallas Whole Life Counseling we see things differently. We believe it is your birthright to become happy, successful and profoundly satisfied within any and all areas of your life. The question is not Is it Possible? but Are you ready?
Dallas Whole Life Counseling is co-owned and directed by Heather and James Robbins, who are happily married and have been together for 20 years. Heather Robbins, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who is also a regular guest on media such as Good Day Fox4 and Ankarlo Mornings. She specializes in the individual treatment of depression and anxiety, as well as working with clients to help them actualize their career potential. James Robbins, M.A., is a published author, national motivational speaker and professional counselor. In 2004, Tony Robbins, world-renowned peak performance coach, personally selected James' first book of non-fiction, Build A Better Buddha, as motivational reading for his elite, international group of Platinum Partnership clients. James specializes in couples counseling, relationship/sexual issues, executive coaching, stress management and facilitating the achievement of personal and life goals. James and Heather live the lives that they inspire their clients to reach for.
"Their shared interests in music, reading, philosophy and spirituality drew them together, but time has underscored their differences. James is more logical and intellectual; Heather is more intuitive and emotional, they say. They believe their differences help make them a good team." —The Dallas Morning News
