Minds are like parachutes. They only function when they are open. —James Dewar

Psychotherapy is the dynamic process of examining and "opening" the mind, as well as the heart. As we learn to better understand the mind and explore it more deeply, we better appreciate it as a powerful and complex instrument. We can significantly improve the qualities and circumstances of our daily lives by examining and making sense of our thoughts and feelings. Working with a trained counselor, we can utilize the process of psychotherapy to access untapped potential or alleviate emotional and interpersonal problems.
